Hard Luck Hounds

Our friends at Petsmart once again stepped up to help us out.  We had a special event on 8-29-2009 for those dogs that have been hard to find homes. Webber found a forever home at this event.  Thanks to everyone that came by to see our Hard Luck Hounds in person Saturday.

My name is Skip and I am 5 years old. My owners surrendered me to the SPCA as an adult dog. I have always been easy and sweet. I am happy and loving to anyone. I appear fine with other dogs and currently exercise with a female in the same yard.

I have recently been started on obedience training. I am worked with a training collar and am learning to sit on command. I love treats during training and am very obedient to the handler.

I am not overly rowdy and do not jump. I will make a great family dog. I am neutered and up to date on my shots. I have been at the shelter since 4/30/05. I am ready for my forever home!
My name is Hercules and I am 3 to 4 years old. A kind person rescued me when they found me chained to a large wooden spool with no food, water or shelter. Thankfully, my life has changed for the better! I basically look and act just like a kid. I am really happy and friendly and enjoy life! I am a fun dog that loves to play, especially in the water! My happy-go-lucky manner is quite amazing, considering the circumstances under which I came to the SPCA.

I have been in obedience training every 2 weeks over the last several months. I love my treats and work well with the training collar. I am not overly rowdy, but I am energetic and will jump up without the collar. Small children would need to be supervised around me for awhile, just to prevent the chance of me bumping into them.

I seem fine with other dogs and currently exercise in the same yard with a female dog.

I will make a grateful and devoted family dog. I am neutered and up to date on my shots. I have been at the shelter since 11/30/06. I am a very sweet boy who needs a loving home!
My name is Franky and I am 3 years old! I am a very sweet dog, although I am very shy! I do not like men, so it would be better if I went with women. However, after getting to know the men at the shelter, I do fine with them. So if somebody would be patient and work with me a little bit, I would probably be okay! I am neutered and up to date on my shots. I came to the shelter as a puppy on 4/08/06, and have been here ever since. Please, won't somebody be my owner?

 
My name is Becky and I was born 9/17/07, so I am two years old. I was surrendered to the SPCA by my owner. I am shy at first, but loving once I get to know you! I do well with other dogs and have been around some kids too! I am also partially crate trained. I am spayed and up to date on my shots. I have been at the shelter since 12/2/07. I am ready to go to a loving home.

 
My name is Apache and I am 4 years old. I am a Heeler/Border Collie mix. I am a very playful dog who needs a good owner! I love squeaky toys! I also get along well with other dogs! I am neutered and up to date on my shots! I came to the shelter as a puppy on 4/2/05 and have been here ever since. I am ready for my forever home!

 
My name is Casey and I am 4 years old. I am a Heeler/Border Collie mix. I am a sweet and loving girl!  I have lots of personality and am just waiting to meet my forever family so I can share that with them!  I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having playmates!  I am spayed and up to date on my shots! I came to the shelter as a puppy on 4/2/05 and have been here ever since. I am a great dog who needs a great forever home!

 
My name is Mira and I am 2 years old.  Somebody dumped me over the fence at the SPCA so now I am looking for a new home.  I am a pretty girl with a sweet personality!  I love to play and get along well with other dogs!  I will make a wonderful friend and companion for somebody!  I am spayed and up to date on my shots.  I have been at the shelter since 4/21/09.  Do you have room in your heart for a sweetie like me?

My name is Webber and I am a year old.  I was surrendered to the shelter with a broken leg.  They have taken great care of me here and I am finally completely healed.  I am so excited to be adopted and have a home of my own.  I am a real lover and truly enjoy being petted and played with.  I am very much still a puppy and like to play, everything I do is high speed and with total enthusiasm!  I am HAPPY and want to play all the time with everyone!  In spite of my energy, I am GENTLE and loving and make you smile!  I will make a great pet and will do my best to bring happiness to your home.  I am neutered and up to date on my shots.  I have been at the shelter since 5/14/09.  Won't you please give me the home I have been praying for?
